In Memory of Charlie Kirk (1993–2025)
Charlie Kirk, a dynamic and influential conservative activist, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2025, at the age of 31, following a shooting at Utah Valley University. As the co-founder of Turning Point USA, Kirk was a pivotal figure in mobilizing young conservatives across America. Born in the Chicago suburbs, he launched the organization in 2012 at just 18, transforming it into a nationwide network that championed free markets, limited government, and conservative values on over 1,000 high school and college campuses.
Kirk’s charisma and unapologetic voice made him a media titan, with his daily podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, becoming a top platform for conservative discourse. He was a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, playing a key role in rallying youth support during the 2016 and 2020 campaigns. Through campus speaking tours, viral debates, and high-profile events like AmericaFest, Kirk inspired a generation to engage in politics, often fearlessly confronting opposing views. Despite controversy over his stances on issues like voter fraud and cultural debates, his commitment to empowering young conservatives was undeniable.
Survived by his wife, Erika, and their two children, Kirk’s legacy as a passionate advocate for conservative principles endures. His vision to make America great, better, and safer will continue to inspire and guide the ongoing efforts of Turning Point USA and its supporters.
